So I’ve decided to start this blog about early stage investing. Who cares? There are plenty of amazing blogs about VC investing (my two favorites are A VC by Fred Wilson and Both Sides of the Table by Mark Suster). I can’t say that I’ll be able to enlighten my readership more than other industry professionals, but I hope that I can provide a unique perspective.

This blog will present the perspective of investing from an associate level. That is, a newcomer’s view, a view from the ground level. I’ve been blessed to work at a firm that has a great group of partners who are very inclusive. This allows me to be intimately involved with every aspect of private investing, learning everything from exit strategies to creating deal flow.

I aspire to learn from the my mentors and to chronicle my experiences in order to become the best investor I can be. The primary goal of this blog is to provide content that entertains and educates readers who wish to accompany me on my quest to be great venture capitalist. The secondary goal is to help further my understanding of venture capital by reflecting on my experiences and putting them in writing.
